Why choose Elke Bitzan as your tour guide?

I have always been fascinated by travel and local history. I worked in various roles at the ‘Kärntner Reisebüro’ for several years and have led many tours both near and far. After a 15-year break to raise a family, I have been a state-certified tour guide in German, Italian and English since 2014, and during this time

I also completed a degree in History at the University of Klagenfurt.

 

I also enjoy cycling around Klagenfurt. In 2016, I completed a training course in Graz on guiding people with special needs. (Listed on the ENAT website ‘European Network for Accessible Tourism “T-Guide” – Tourist guides for people with intellectual & learning difficulties in Europe’).

My city tours in Klagenfurt are therefore accessible to absolutely everyone, and I strive to bring the city’s history to life for you through a wide range of possible tours.
